Anjali Mya Chadha
Actor, Writer, Producer
Actor, Writer and Producer Anjali Mya Chadha has a successful track record in comedy.
She has appeared in award-winning shows, including 'Little Britain' and 'Mitchell & Webb'.
To add to her credits, Anjali recently played the role of Ayesha in 'Made Visible,' at The Yard Theatre, London, to great reviews.
She created and toured her own successful solo show, 'The Dateless Wonder,' which was nominated for the prestigious Meyer-Whitworth Award: one of the largest annual monetary prizes for playwriting in the UK. (The Dateless Wonder is now available in print at Amazon.co.uk to read at your own leisure).
She then went on to work as a storyline associate in the British Teen Soap, 'Hollyoaks'.
Anjali is a much sought-after social commentator and can often be heard on a wide variety of radio talk shows - from girlie issues to modern politics; she's clued-up, chatty and colourful. She is a regular guest panellist for the BBC Asian Network.
Anjali runs her own entertainment company MissyMya, and her new Comedy 'Dadism,' starring stand-up comic Jason Kavan, played with great success at the Watermans Art Centre and will be touring in 2018.
And if the above isn't enough, Anjali has directed two short films, 'Rosie' and 'Vinod', the latter of which she also wrote.
In her most recent role as Artistic Associate with Tara Arts (now Tara Teatre), Anjali developed and produced numerous projects, including tara tales and online storytelling projects for children who found themselves without access to books or libraries during the lockdown.
"She has charm and charisma. Shifted into different characters smoothly. Evoked a variety of convincing accents and seemed to fit the character exactly..."
